I'm back from environmental camp!!!!!!! IT WAS LIKE HOGWARTS IN THAT PLACE!!!! Except without creepy nerds on broomsticks...BUT SERIOUSLY! The way we picked what cabin we were in was with A FREAKING SORTING HAT!!!! AND IT TALKED!!!!! :D :D :D HAHA SUCKER 5th GRADERS!!! I was in a cabin with Harper, Alex, Chloe, Patzy, Yuli, Sheyla, and Brenda!! We had breakfast every morning and we had to take a shower in pretty nasty bathrooms, BUT ITS ALL GOOD! We went to different classes like, hiking, fishing, survival and other stuff!! :D IT WAS AWESOME! We had a dance party almost every night! We were rockin' the dining hall!! Then my science teacher said that we had to invent a two ponchos out of trash bags. One would be fashionable, and the other protects you in the rain. My cabin took three trash bags and made a full body suit poncho with pigtails out the head, eye and nose holes, sleeves with cool designs, lips (made with duct tape) and eyebrows (also made with duct tape). This would be our poncho for the rain. We called it, "GooGoo man" and we even came up with a cool little catchphrase we could say into the mic when the models would show off our designs on the catwalk, "She's hiding in your closet, waiting to eat you...but still lookin' sexy!!" HAHA! And our fashionable design was a dress with a head piece, designs and lots off bows made of blue duct tape. It was called, "Blue Goddess". We didn't really have a catchphrase for that though :) On the day that our models were supposed to strut down the isle, we all got ready for the bug event. Male models went first. WARNING:DO NOT LOOK THEM IN THE EYE. YOU WILL BE SCARRED FOR LIFE!! They shook their butts and sashayed down the isle like this was some kind of competition, not to see which poncho was better, but a competition to see which guy could blind the most of the audience in a minute. We all held our breath as the last guy came out sporting "his" poncho. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA We all burst out laughing. I don't even have words for what we saw out there. I drew you a picture, but stupid blogspot wont let me put it down here, sooo...just look at the top of the page to the right. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHA! So yeah, that was a pretty cool part of environmental camp. Then the next day, it was pretty normal, but came night, we broke out the silly string and headed to Eli's cabin. We were planning to knock on their door and spray when they opened it. We wouldn't get sent home, it was the one of the last days! But we couldn't use flashlights, because then Mr. Mota might see us. We had no idea where we were, we were on the boys side and we were lost! So we found a cabin that we were absolutely sure was Eli's, so we knocked on the door. We heard Adrian say, "Open the door." So we knew it was Eli's cabin. They opened the door and...CCHHHHHH!!!! We sprayed away. We were having loads of fun until we saw DJ. He wasn't in Eli's cabin. Then we saw Julian, and Anthony and Ramon! WE WERE IN THE WRONG CABIN!!! We stopped spraying right away. We made those boys swear not to tell. We headed back towards our cabin, sad that it wasn't Eli's cabin, but felt that this was totally worth it. The night after that, we had a parent dinner with all the parents. After dinner, we went to the campfire place and showed skits. We did a skit called, "No skit" :) After the parents left, we had s'mores and danced. Then, it happened. Eli and Daniela went to the steps and spent a little time together. THEY WERE GONNA KISS!!! Right when Eli leaned over to Daniela, Adrian and Francisco started fighting. Not cat fighting, like, INTENSE fighting. Like, I was scared. Everyone circled around them. I don't know why they were fighting, but they got in trouble. Eli and Daniela did NOT kiss. After all that, Mr. Mota showed a slide show of pictures from camp. We nearly cried it was so beautiful! LOLZ. After that, Eli and Daniela did end up kissing. And so, we were all happy. We slept peacefully that night, and the next morning we cleaned up, and hit the bus. We were sad to have left, but glad to be home! I LOVE CHICO!!! I'll miss you, environmental camp!!!! HAPPY SUMMER!
